PROGRAM:
Exclusive Route 1
BYZANTINE DAY
This excursion begins at the Roman Hippodrome where we can admire the following wonders of the Byzantine Empire: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the German Fountain and the Column of Constantine. We will visit the first floor of the Basilica of Saint Sophia, a Byzantine temple from the 6th century, built by Justinian the Great and that is currently a museum that shows the most incredible Byzantine mosaics.
Then we will arrange to visit the Basilica Cistern, equipped with 300 columns inside, and which was used as a water deposit to facilitate the needs of the Imperial Palace.
After this visit lunch will be held in a restaurant located next to the Byzantine Church of Christ Pantocrator, the second largest in Istanbul, which was also converted into a mosque in the fifteenth century.
In the afternoon, we will make a guided visit to the Byzantine Basilica of San Salvador in Chora, where we will marvel at the magnificent frescoes that tell the story of Christianity.

Exclusive Route 2
Ottoman DAY
We started this interesting excursion in the Blue Mosque, one of the most beautiful Ottoman mosques and the only one equipped with 6 minarets, with a beautiful collection of tiles inside.
Later we will visit the Topkapı Palace, residence of the first sultans of the Ottoman Empire. In this place you can enjoy not only the architecture of the time, but also countless objects and relics of the inhabitants of that time. Composed of a series of small buildings surrounded by courtyards, gardens and walls, it can take more than three hours to cover it completely. From the Palace incredible views of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn are appreciated.
Then we will visit the Grand Bazaar, with its more than four thousand stores that make it a miniature commercial city. There you can buy gifts and souvenirs of all kinds and socialize with your salespeople, experts in your business and who usually speak several languages.
After this visit, there will be a break for lunch, in a select restaurant located next to the Egyptian Bazaar, which we will visit in the afternoon, also known as the Spice Bazaar.
Finally we will visit the Rüstempaşa Mosque, one of the most impressive works of the architect Sinan and the most interesting for its location, where you can see the finest Iznik tiles (Nicea) and beautiful panels of individual design.

Live and feel Istanbul as a Istanbulite
The purpose of this excursion is for our client to perceive the daily rhythm of this megalopolis, as if he were an inhabitant of the city; far from the most tourist areas and visited the most daily places for locals.
We offer you the possibility of an urban walk with our specialized guides: visit the Dolmabahçe Palace, where the last Ottoman sultans lived, travel by private vehicle the most important avenue in the city, Istiklal, and imbue the rhythm of cosmopolitan Istanbul , where they will have free time to dine or have a coffee in the various restaurants, cafes or bars that will find their way to Taksim Square, considered the neuralgic center of the city. In the afternoon you can continue to Ortaköy, a typical neighborhood located next to the Bosphorus, an area with excellent restaurants, pubs and bars. In one of its cafes we can enjoy apple tea, a Turkish coffee or the famous “hookah” (water pipe).
As another possibility you can go to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate and from there visit the Sehzadebasi Mosque, the work of the famous Ottoman architect, Sinan. As the culmination of this urban route you can visit the viewpoint of Pierre Loti, in the Golden Horn, to marvel at the views and make the trip back to the hotel.
